Love in Bangkok becomes Love in Singapore
The title of Love in Bangkok is again changed to the old Love in Singapore as most of the scenes are shot in Singapore. Earlier, it was decided to shoot in Bangkok.
Mammootty plays the character of Machu, who is in the business of buying and selling scrap. He is a millionaire but his partner Andrews incurred huge losses to their company thus making Machu penniless. Machu has two friends, Narayanan and Shukoor. The story revolves around the scuffle between Machu and another millionaire Irumbu Mani in the same business.
Kalabhavan Mani dons the role of Machu’s friend Narayanan and Bijukuttan is Shukkoor. Nedumudi Venu also plays the important role of an Anglo Indian named Andrews Pereira. Nedumudi's daughter Diana’s role is played by Navneet Kaur from Punjab. She has acted as heroine in Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films. Rafi is producing this film under the banner of M.H.M. productions; Rafi-Mecartin are the directors; Sanjeev Sankar is the man behind the camera; lyrics are by Rajeev Alungal and Santhosh Varma; music is by Suresh Peters.
